The small beach town lifestyle and sense of community are why Ellen's family chose Atlantic Beach as their home. Ellen's campaign logo represents those values to her in many ways. If you look closely, the first wheel is a lower case "a" and the second wheel with the handle bars is a lower case "b" spelling AB for Atlantic Beach. Ellen also wanted to include her beloved blue bike (pictured above) that you'll see her cruising around town on frequently, like many other folks in our community who prefer beach cruisers as their main source of transportation. She wanted her logo to mean something more than just an eye-catching campaign logo. She wanted it to represent our Atlantic Beach culture, the culture she wants to preserve and improve, to make A Better Atlantic Beach!

Immediately following her FBI retirement, Ellen rode her bike across America, from Seattle to Washington, D.C., in a fundraiser called The Big Ride for the American Lung Association in memory of her mother.
